Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PadUnite ("PadUnite", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website (padunite.com), our free tools, and the PadUnite tournament platform (platform.padunite.com). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cyprus data-protection law.
Who we are
PadUnite operates the PadUnite website and padel tournament platform in Cyprus. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us via our Contact page or by email at privacy@padunite.com.
What data we collect
Account & profile data — when you create a PadUnite platform account: your name, email address, and the tournament/results information you generate by playing.
Tournament data — teams, registrations, scores, standings, and match history connected to events you join.
Contact & enquiry data — information you submit through our contact forms, feature-request forms, or when you book a call (name, email, and your message).
Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working.
Our free tools (rules guide, planners, simulators, scorecard) work in your browser without an account. Any progress they save is stored on your own device only and is not sent to us.
How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and operate the platform and tournaments; display live scores, standings, and results; respond to your enquiries and booking requests; keep the service secure and prevent abuse; and improve our tools and content. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract (running your account and the tournaments you join), our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the service), your consent (where required, for example non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary for the site and platform to function. Where any non-essential or analytics cookies are used, we ask for your consent first, and you can withdraw it at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run PadUnite, including our website/content platform (Storyblok), our tournament platform infrastructure, and our booking scheduler (Motion) for the "Book a call" links. These providers process data only to deliver their service to us and under appropriate data-protection terms.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@padunite.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
Children
PadUnite is not directed at children under 16. Where a minor participates in a tournament, we expect a parent, guardian, or club to manage their registration. If you believe a child has provided us data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "last updated" date.
